No prior knowledge or experience is necessary – all workshops are suitable for beginners. Whether you're drawn to the therapeutic process of painting and gluing or the delicate art of working with threads and fibres, you’ll find plenty of projects to ignite your imagination.

The retreat includes accommodation and meals for the whole retreat along with materials and equipment for all workshops. There will be time in the evening to relax and socialise with others or pick up and continue a started project.

Our retreat offers a selection of beautifully appointed heritage bedrooms, each designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Featuring either king-size or super king-size beds, each room promises a restful night's sleep. Accessed via a grand, sweeping staircase, the rooms are situated within the main house, many with stunning views of the formal gardens.
Each spacious room is equipped with modern amenities, including wall-mounted flat-screen televisions, luxurious white bed linens, and plush bathroom towels. Several rooms feature elegant four-poster beds, while others offer generous king-size or super king-size beds. Most rooms also benefit from the added convenience of en-suite bathrooms.
For those seeking a more social experience, we offer a selection of shared rooms, where guests can choose to share with a friend or be paired with another solo traveller. This option fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the retreat.

Your Retreat in Detail
Day 1: Arrival and Welcome

4:30 pm –5.30pm Arrival & Meet and Greet: Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome with tea and coffee. Take the opportunity to settle into your room and refresh before the evening’s activities.

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Evening Meal & Welcome Reception: Join us for a delicious, home-cooked evening meal and an introduction to the retreat. This is the perfect time to meet fellow crafters and begin building connections.

7.30 – 9:00 pm – Evening Craft Workshop: Your creative journey begins with the first craft of the retreat.

9:00 pm onwards – Free Time / Social Time: After the workshop, relax and socialize with fellow participants , enjoy a dip in the pool or retire early to prepare for a full day of crafting on Day 2.​
Day 2: A Day of Creativity

8:00 am – 9:00 am – Breakfast: Begin your day with a continental breakfast, with the option to enjoy a morning swim in the spa before the day’s activities commence.

9:15 am Day guest will join us.

9.30am Morning Craft Session will commence: Choose between Spring Felt Wreaths or Tree of hearts as your first project of the day. Both workshops are designed to inspire and encourage creativity.

A mid-morning tea and coffee break will be provided to keep you refreshed.

12.45 pm – 1.30 pm – Lunch: Enjoy a leisurely lunch, prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

1.30pm – 5:00 pm – Afternoon Craft Sessions: Choose two craft workshops from the following options:

Refreshment breaks will be included between craft sessions to ensure you remain energized and inspired.

5.00pm Day guest will leave

5:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Free Time: Unwind with some personal time, whether by exploring the grounds, relaxing in the lounge, or enjoying a peaceful moment by the fire.

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Evening Meal: Relish another home-cooked dinner and take this time to socialize with fellow attendees.

7.30 pm Surprise evening craft.

9.00pm onwards – Social Time: After dinner, relax and enjoy conversations with other guests, dip in the pool or a glass of wine in the lounge.​
Day 3: Reflection and Farewell

8:00 am – 9:00 am – Breakfast: Enjoy a final breakfast at Glentworth Hall before preparing for the day ahead.

9:00 am – 10:30 am – Relaxation: Take time to unwind by the fire or enjoy one last swim in the pool before heading to Hemswell Village Hall, just 2.5 miles away (a 5-minute drive).

10:30am Day guests join us.

10:30 am – 12:30 am – First Craft Session at Hemswell Village Hall: The first craft workshop of the day will begin at the village hall. This is an excellent opportunity to continue your creative journey in a new setting.

12:30 pm – 1:15 pm – Lunch: Enjoy a final, light lunch at the village hall, providing a moment to relax and reflect on your experience.

1:15 pm – 4:00 pm – Final Craft Session: Engage in the last creative workshop of the retreat, ensuring you leave with a sense of accomplishment and inspiration.

4:00 pm – Farewells: Bid farewell to new friends and your fellow crafters, leaving with memories, completed projects, and newfound skills.
