Our retreat will be like no other, you will have the opportunity to try so many different crafts over the weekend. You can immerse yourself in glue and paint or threads and fibres. Craft holidays are a fabulous opportunity to meet like-minded craft folk and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of escaping day to day life.

Workshops choices will include Indian Block Printing, Handmade Paper Making, Needle Felting, Candle Making, Little Wooden Houses, Macrame Rainbows, Art Journaling, all of which are suitable for beginners. No prior knowledge or skills are required for this retreat, so you’ll get to enjoy our lovely projects whilst learning something new.

The retreat includes accommodation and meals for the weekend along with materials and equipment for all included workshops. There will be time in the evening to relax and socialise with others or pick up and continue a started project.

Most people come on their own and after your first cup of tea and a natter about crafts you’ll have plenty of people to chat with over the weekend. We promise!

Can I choose the crafts I do?

Absolutely we aim to give everyone a choice of two different crafts at each session with exception to the Friday evening. You will be asked for your choice based on preference shortly after booking. Please note, bookings taken less than 8 weeks before the retreat or when we are close to capacity may have less choice due to availability. You are welcome to check with us and we will aim to update the bookings page when booking restrictions may happen.

Do I have to share a room with strangers?

No, all rooms are single occupancy, you will have your own space.

Are there any en-suite facilities at all?

Yes, all room are en-suite with toilet, sink and shower facilities.

No all rooms are single, they are clean and well appointed. Rooms are simple in décor and are focused to cater for students normally attending the college. They will have all the necessities needed for the weekend.

Can I join a course even if I’ve never tried the craft before?

Yes, you certainly can! All workshops are suitable for all abilities as our experienced tutors will be on hand to give you as much or as little help that you require.

Is there a bar?

We do not have a bar onsite, the bonus of this is you can bring your own bottle if you wish to enjoy a drink during the evening social times. This will save you the dreaded bar prices, that you can always spend on crafts later!

Is parking available?

Yes, free onsite parking is available for all our participants, this is in a dedicated car park that is accessed by a barrier.

What do I need to bring with me?

Just your personal items including a towel. You may wish to bring a few extra home comforts like an additional pillow, blanket to make it feel more at home.

Are there any hidden extra costs?

No absolutely not, we believe in offering fabulous workshops that offer great value for money. All workshops included in your booking are inclusive of the tutoring, materials and use of tools.

We may look to offer an additional workshop on the Friday and Sunday afternoon and a taster workshop on the Saturday evening. These will be fully optional and booked separately to the main workshop. Some attendees will take them up and others will not. These are a fabulous opportunity to enjoy a few more crafts.
