​Terms and Conditions

​​

We will have exclusive use of the beautiful Glentworth Hall Country House with pool spa for the duration of the event until we check out on Friday at 10.30am. We will then move to Hemswell Village Hall, located a 5 minute drive away. The retreat will end around 4.00pm on the 11th April.

1. Booking:

a. You can either book via our website Beehivewellbeing.co.uk or contact us via email at beehivewellbeing@gmail.com

b. To book you will be required to complete a booking form and pay the deposit or full retreat fee.  

c. On making this payment you are completing your booking and are accepting our terms and conditions laid out in this document.

d. Once booked you will receive an email via the website if you booked that way and/or an email from beehive wellbeing confirming your booking. At this point you may be asked for further details, to complete the information required, such as dietary requirements, accessibility information and preexisting medical concerns we should be aware of.

e. Further information will be supplied after this confirming specific details for your Retreat stay.

f. Bookings can only be made for people 18 years and over.

g. No pets are allowed at the Retreat.

h. Booking information will be stored appropriately following our Privacy Policy guidelines. ​

 

2. Payment:

a. A £200 deposit is required per person for each residential retreat booking. This is non refundable upon cancellation unless the residential retreat space is filled. If we are able to fill the space we will make contact with you to arrange the refund.

b. You are required to pay the balance in full 12 weeks prior to the Retreats first day. An invoice will be sent to you 14 weeks prior and a phone call will be made to you at 13 weeks to confirm receipt of the email. Payment can be made via BACS payment.

c. If the balance at 12 weeks is not paid by that time, then your space will be retained and Beehive Wellbeing are entitled to advertise the Retreat space and retain all payments already paid. 

 

3. Cancellation Policy:

a. We hope you don’t have to cancel, but if you do:-

Any cancellations will only be processed if they are submitted in writing to beehivewellbeing@gmail.com with your name, details of the booking and your telephone number. Once received they will be reviewed and responded to promptly.

b. If you cancel your booking prior to 12 weeks before the Retreat is due to start (1st day of the retreat) we will re advertise your space on the retreat and only if we can fill the space, we will issue a refund minus a £55 cancellation charge. 

c. If you cancel your booking 6 to 12 weeks prior to the Retreat is due to start (1st day of the retreat) we are unable to refund unless we fill the space. If we are able to fill the space we will issue a refund minus £100 cancellation charge. If you wish to give your place to someone else then a transfer fee of £30 will be charged to change name and make arrangements for a new guest. 

d. If you cancel under 6 weeks prior to the Retreat is due to start (1st day of the retreat) we are unable to offer any element of the fee in a refund. At this point we will have paid tutors and purchased goods. We recommend that you take out personal insurance cover to protect you in this instance. 

​e. If we have to cancel the Retreat for any reason, a full refund will be arranged to you within 28 days by the same method paid.  We do advise that comprehensive travel insurance is taken out by you to cover any cancellations. 

f. Tickets bought for day guests are non refundable but may be transferred to another party.

4. Changing your Booking:

a. Should you need to change your booking, such as transfer to someone else or transfer to another date, this can only be done at the discretion of Beehive Wellbeing and transfers can only be made if we are able to fill the space that is booked. An administration charge of £30 will be required for the changes made. If you choose to transfer to an earlier retreat date, this fee will be waivered. 

 

5. Retreat Security

a. Bedroom doors may not a lock on them and therefore we strongly recommend that you bring your valuables to the communal areas with you.

 6. Incidents, Accidents and Damage:

a. If items are damaged or broken in the space you are using, please report this as soon as possible to one of the Beehive Team. We will take information and photos of the damage. Please be aware let we have the right to charge for damage or breakages made whilst you stay at the Retreat. This includes charging if non-complimentary items go missing.

b. All incidents and accidents must be reported to one of the Beehive Team immediately.

c. We do request that noise is kept at a responsible level to respect the other people staying with us. If the noise is not acceptable and has not been reduced on request, we do reserve the right to ask you to leave the Retreat.

d. We do expect people’s behaviour to be appropriate to those attending the Retreat and to the Beehive Team members. We will not tolerate rudeness or anger displayed to anyone involved in the Retreat. We do reserve the right to ask you to leave the Retreat if required.

e. Please note that Beehive Wellbeing cannot be responsible for any loss, damage or expenses due to circumstances beyond our control or if our terms and conditions have not been followed.

 

 7. Smoking and Drinking at the Retreat

a. Please note that smoking and/or vaping can only take place outside of the building.

b. The sensible drinking of alcohol is permitted, no bar is available however you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. 

 

8. We will be the only group at the venue, no housekeeping will be available.

10. We aim to run all advertised workshops and classes. Please note these may be changed at the discretion of the organisers should the need arise. ​​​

What is included in the cost?

A fabulous craft break away featuring:

  • 6-7 individual craft workshops and around 10 hours of fully tutored crafting time.

  • Accommodation for two nights.

    • Two breakfasts, Two lunches & Two evening meals

  • An abundance of tea and coffee and cake!

  • Water and squash

  • Free parking​

 

FAQs

Are there any hidden extra costs?  

No absolutely not, we believe in offering fabulous retreats that that offer great value for money. All workshops are included in your booking and are inclusive of the tutoring, materials and use of tools on the day. All meals, cakes, tea, coffee and squash and water are included

​Can I choose the crafts I do?

This will be a small retreat with many crafts on offer over the retreat, you will be be spoilt for choice. At some sessions you will have the opportunity to choose which craft is your preference.

 

What do I need to bring with me?

Just your personal items including a towel/robe for the pool. You may wish to bring a few extra home comforts like slippers or indoor shoes and flip flops for the pool. Your favourite tipple if desired. Unlike most retreats, we provide all craft materials for you, this means no frantic shopping with a list before you arrive. 

 

Is the venue accessible?

This venue has a downstairs dining room, lounge, and bathroom facilities. All bedrooms are accessed by stairs Please discuss your needs with us prior to booking. This is a grade 2 listed building and does not have a lift.

I don’t know anyone and I’m nervous about joining the retreat. 

Most people come on their own and after your first cup of tea and a natter about crafts you’ll have plenty of people to chat with over the weekend. We promise!

 

Do I have to share a room with someone else?

No, you can book a sole occupancy room just for you. We will have some shared rooms available and this will be the most economical option at the retreat. We are happy to pair you with another guest travelling alone if you choose this option. We find that crafting ladies are all friendly bunch. 

 

Bedroom facilities.

All bedrooms are accessed by a stunning flowing staircase. Rooms are located in the main house with many offering views over the formal gardens. Rooms are spacious with the majority of rooms having an en-suite bathrooms. Rooms vary with some boasting stunning four poster beds, other have king size or super kings size beds. Bedrooms all have wall mounted tv's, white bedlinen and bathroom towels are provided.

Is there a bar?

We do not have a bar onsite, the bonus of this is you can bring your own bottle if you wish to enjoy a drink during the evening social times. This will save you the dreaded bar prices, that you can always spend on crafts later!

 

Is parking available?

Yes, free onsite parking is available for all those attending our fabulous crafters retreat.

 

Transport links

Glentworth Hall is easily accessible by car and just is 2.1 miles away from Caneby Corner on the A15 which can be accessed via the M180 from the North and A46 from the South

Train Stations

Gainsborough Railway is approximately 10 miles away and Lincoln train station is 13 miles from the the Glentworth Hall. Both train stations are easily accessible by taxi

In the unfortunate event of transport cancellations resulting in you not being able to attend we will not be able to provide a refund. We will not be liable for any personal costs to attend the workshop, including transport, hotels for example.
