Immerse yourself in the vibrant and creative world of Indian Block Printing at our Lincolnshire Studio. This full-day workshop offers ample time to explore, experiment, and enjoy this traditional craft in a fun, relaxing, and inspiring environment.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of block printing. We will start the day with a demonstration of the principles of using blocks, choosing inks and colour palettes, creating patterns and more.
You’ll then enjoy browsing through our beautiful wooden blocks and thinking about designs. Once you have choosen your favourite block prints, along with a variety of textile colours. You will have time to play and print on paper and some practice fabric to gain confidence as you try out different printing techniques . This will allow you time to play with designs, practice your technique and finalise a design…
